With so many different social media sites out there, it can get exhausting keeping up with each of them. Many marketers feel that they can just create a post and copy it to all profiles. But not all social media platforms should be thought of in the same way. The best practices for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn all differ. For example, Twitter provides a maximum of 140 characters; however, the sweet spot is actually between 120 and 130 characters to get the retweet. For LinkedIn, sharing links will get you the most likes and engagement this for B2B platform. And for Facebook, high quality pictures really are worth a thousand words. At the end of the day, while there are many tips from various websites, it is always best to test and see what strategy works best for your company!
